Elizabeth Parchment

Chief Marketing Officer, NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission

Elizabeth Parchment serves as the primary architect of multi-channel efforts to market New Jersey’s leadership in film, as well as the economic benefits of a strong film industry in state. She guides all aspects of film related marketing, communications, events, training, and programmatic initiatives designed to promote New Jersey as the premier filming destination and drive diversity and inclusion within New Jersey film and media productions.

Given the steady influx of production activity, Elizabeth led the development of the state’s Film Ready New Jersey Program, designed to certify municipalities as “film-ready”: ready and prepared to cooperate with movie and television producers. With over 12 years of extensive legislative, operational and volunteerism experience, Elizabeth previously served as the Department of State’s first Chief Diversity Officer, as Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office of Volunteerism, and in several capacities at the New Jersey General Assembly, including Deputy Clerk, policy operations manager and policy analyst. Elizabeth serves on the board of the Esther Project and as Director of Outreach at Christian International Church in Lincoln Park, NJ. A recent resident of South Jersey, Elizabeth enjoys playing golf with her two boys and exploring new hiking trails.
