Amanda Ekstein is a Senior Associate of DLBHicks LLC, a consulting practice that provides fundraising guidance and support to nonprofit organizations from grassroots to global. Over the past four years, she has provided grant writing support as well as guidance on program evaluation to a variety of nonprofits across the education, arts, health and human service sectors both in the US and abroad. Amanda holds degrees from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea and Arcadia University in Pennsylvania.

As funding for Municipal and Community Channels becomes more and more difficult to come by in Municipal budgets, stations have to be more creative in the ways they find funding. Some stations have been successful in finding grants to fund programming, operations and even capital equipment.
