Aime Alonzo currently oversees OBTV, in Old Bridge, New Jersey. She directs all its shows and handles camera operations for its television broadcasts. In addition to running the TV station she oversees the township website while also serving as the Executive Assistant to the Business Administrator. Her leadership in these roles is just one facet of a broad career in both the arts and civic service.

 

An accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer, Aime has made contributions to the entertainment industry. Notably, she served as an associate producer for the acclaimed documentary John Leguizamo’s Road to Broadway, which aired on PBS and Netflix and as director of a series that aired on Amazon. As a member of SAG-AFTRA, she’s appeared in award-winning independent projects and lent her talent as a background actor on television shows including The EqualizerFBIPose, Ray Donovan, Power, Blue Bloods and all the Law & Order series, and films such as In the Heights, Uncut Gems, and Your Place or Mine. She worked directly with Christopher Meloni on an episode of Law & Order Organized Crime and has benefited from the insights of many prominent entertainment industry figures. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking and Theater Arts.

 

Her expertise also extends into the legal arena. She has a Juris Doctorate degree and actively contributes as a board member of a national court consortium. She has presented at conferences hosted by the National Center for State Courts and the American Bar Association. She has served as an adjunct professor, motivating others to pursue their passions and to learn something new every day.  Her extensive experience and well-rounded background have earned her a reputation as a “jack of all trades, master of many.”  Aime is delighted to have returned to her first love of telling visual stories.
