For the past 15 years, Dianna has researched and created applications and proposals for government and private grant funding supporting a variety of projects addressing domestic and sexual violence, community development, senior citizens, youth development and job training, gun violence prevention, legal aid, business and economic development, environmental site remediation, counseling and mental health, vulnerable children, veterans, and reentering citizens. She is honored to have a hand in helping programs start and grow to help individuals throughout the country.
In addition to 15 years of grant writing consulting, Dianna brings a wide range of local and state government experience to her work. This includes community and economic development, as well as land use/reuse project planning, as the Director of Economic Development for a county in New York, and extensive legislative work in the Missouri Department of Insurance and later for the American Academy of Actuaries.

Grants for PEG and Community Stations

As funding for Municipal and Community Channels becomes more and more difficult to come by in Municipal budgets, stations have to be more creative in the ways they find funding. Some stations have been successful in finding grants to fund programming, operations and even capital equipment. This workshop will explore sources stations can explore for grants to supplement the funding they receive from their municipalities.
